a boxing story

At Benavidez Boxing gym in Burien, Washington, Ryan Bailey has been training for his debut fight. The day has arrived and the story follows his thoughts, feelings and energy leading up to the opening bell. Original Studios, a small Seattle-based production studio, struggles creatively under one self-imposed constraint - get the video done in one day. It's a story of reflection, perspective, self-doubt and a couple conversations.

When the height of feeling overwhelmed meets you at your lowest capacity, sometimes you need a shoulder, sometimes you need a cheerleaders, and sometimes you need someone to lean on. Runway A SUPPORT STORY, is a short film following Tawfiq and Jinji on a production weekend. The next episode of the Original Studios Series, A Couple Conversations, needs to be uploaded. Although, Jinji is busy with a runway show, tired from running around Seattle building her finance career, and needs help.

the good ancestor

Dr. Jones finds herself arguing with a friend at a WOW Gallery event.

"You need to capture the award and tell everyone. You're getting ANOTHER Doctorate."
"It's not that serious," Angela responds.

Back and forth, until they met Tawfiq, who was photographing that very event. Putting him on the spot, asking which of them was right. Needless to say, Original Studios ended up covering the Award proceedings.
